"I came here for the first time. Tom did my nails, he was super friendly and did my full set acrylics quickly and with great attention to detail. I will definitely be coming back. Everyone else working was also very nice and welcoming and they were very reasonably priced."

"Tourists beware of this place! Initially the reception was nice. I came in for a pedicure and an eyebrow wax. I only decided to write this review after realizing my eyebrows are actually worse than they initially were. I was seated quickly in the spa chair, luke warm water with a tablet to start the soaking (no plastic in the bowl). At the start of my pedicure, there was some small talk made, but her attitude took a quick turn when I told her I was visiting from out of town. I guess upon realizing I wasn't a local there was no reason to provide quality service, even though I still tipped her well. I even paid her a compliment during the pedicure, but I could tell she just wanted to get it over with. The wax was the worst wax job ever. I know my eyebrows are fairly thin already but she laughed when she almost dripped wax in my eye and put it on nice and hot without blowing on it first. Then the random plucking, and hard smudging of the cotton ball, pulling my skin so tight as if to make a point. She didn't even give me a mirror to check the work. Instead She hurriedly announced "all done" with a fake smile. Idk, maybe eyebrow waxing wasn't her thing or she was having a bad day, or maybe because I only picked basic services. My husband and I came in with shopping bags and thirsty, verbalizing he was going to look for water and came back with two purchased bottles only to find out they had water at the spa, which was never offered. She wrote down the total of the pedicure in math fashion and showed me the paper. I handed her my card with a smile and said thank you very much. I do come to this area for work at times. But I will never go here again. Worst experience ever."

"Crystal Nails in Golden is simply the best nail salon. It is run by the cutest Vietnamese couple who both give the best leg/foot massage during the pedicure. As a runner, I benefit from this self care routine on so many levels. The salon has been in business for 20 years. I live in Denver and I've been driving here twice a month for over a year because I love it so much!!!"

"Tom and his wife are both fantastic! I normally look at getting my nails done as a bit of a chore, but they are always so fast and efficient it doesn’t feel that way when I go here. Never have any nails break in between visits and they stay looking great for weeks. Highly recommend!!!"
