"this happened a few years ago but i'm still extremely upset about it. i booked an apt and ended up getting a full set. i was scheduled with an apprentice/new girl. (they were offering FREE sets if you let an apprentice practice on you at this time mind you...) she was nice but she glued my eye shut and wasn't able to replicate the effect i was going for. i paid 300+ for this set. i also was convinced to buy the package where all your refills and sets were paid monthly. this charged me another 300$ so i paid 600$ at one appointment. i didn't immediately go back and get refills because i liked my lashes. until i got charged ANOTHER 300$. i called and asked them to cancel because i was not receiving these services fast enough and getting charged when i hadnt even used up my original packages. they told me i had to cancel X amount of days in advance and that there were NO REFUNDS?! and i had 60 days only to use up all of the services i already paid for or lose the money. i was so upset and angry i couldn't go back but to this day i was so screwed over being conned out of that money. I only got ONE SET and paid 900$ for it thanks to dekalash. ive never gotten my lashes done again because im scared of getting scammed again. i am very low income and was splurging on myself for once and it went horribly wrong."

"My sister has been getting lash extensions for almost ten years now and finally convinced me to do it. I went in and told the lash artist it was my first time and she took no time explaining anything to me. The only thing that I picked was my mapping. Not the length, curl or anything. The actual extension process was miserable. Apparently my eyes fluttered a lot (which I learned when I was asked quite rudely if I had coffee before my appointment, which I did not) the artist, I could tell was very annoyed with me which made me even more uncomfortable. My eyes were also burning the entire time which I thought was normal but I didn’t learn was not normal until the stylist next to me told her client to let her know if anything hurt. One of my eyes is still red and this is two days later. Also, I was told that the extensions I had picked wouldn’t work on my eyes and I needed a hybrid and not a truexpress. Instead of changing the type of lashes we were using (which I probably should have been consulted on prior to starting) I’m assuming I still got the true press because two days later I’m missing lashes on half my eyelid on one of my eyes. I’ve notice almost all of the lashes I’m losing are fans. If you knew it wasn’t going to work why did you continue! I felt so uncomfortable and nervous to say anything during my appointment because of the lack of customer service. I have a consult with another lash company today to see what can be done."

"Marisa did my eyelash tint on Saturday. She was so kind and attentive during my service. I had many questions as a new customer and she was patient and knowledgeable and willing to share her own personal experiences around lashes and skin care. I really loved the outcome of my lash tint. The studio was decorated beautifully, it did NOT reek of bleach or harsh chemical cleaners (as I smelled previously in a local competitor's shop; it caused an instant migraine as a result; I never returned). I would return to Deka Lash over and over again. Thank you, Marisa, for a wonderful experience!"

"I went through an absolutely horrible process with this studio. As someone who runs businesses I didn’t want to leave a bad review unless I really feel it is necessary. Well it is. I got my lashes done and my eye was burning through the whole process. The first two photos were the next day first thing in the morning. I was kind of freaked out, and also in a lot of pain, it hurt every time I needed to blink. Upon reaching out they said they would refund me (they haven’t) and now I’m disputing it with my CC company and Groupon. The last photo is of my extremely dilated eye and was taken while I was at the hospital. The whole experience was really upsetting."

"I had my first experience with lash extensions today. I have naturally long eyelashes, but they're blonde so you can only see them after I put on several coats of mascara. The stylist I had today was extremely informative, from the application process, selecting style/length, and after care. She was very easy to talk to, relaxed, and made the long application process comfortable. I highly recommend them!!"
