"March 2024 update: My previous experience here with spice levels was a bummer, but I’m so glad I came back! I ordered Medium spice level on the butter chicken and shahi paneer, I’d say the medium is less spicy than a jalapeño for comparison. If you’re nervous about it being too hot you can err on the side of caution and just ask for hot sauce on the side to kick it up to your desired level. Flavor was great and service was exceptional."
"Outstanding flavor! We had the Garlic Naan, Chicken Coconut Korma, Bengan Bhartha, Butter Chicken. Got to try the Naan, one of the best I had. Bengan Bhartha and Coconut Korma has a great balance of flavor and spices. First time trying and will get again. Butter Chicken was good but the flavor profile was different from what I’m use to. Overall service was good but felt a bit rushed to get an order placed. We were still looking at the menu and chatting about what to get."
"This place is amazing. The food is amazing. The service is always good. I love going here. I got the butter chicken and my husband got the chicken tikka special it all tasted so good and it was so filling. Great price and good portion size. Highly recommend coming here!"
"I’m amending my review in light of the owner reaching out to us to make things right: I would first like to point out that I’ve removed the main incident from my review as in light of the owner having terminated the offending party from the business. The owner invited us to the restaurant to make a personal apology and comped us a meal as well. I definitely appreciate her sensitivity in the matter and I am satisfied with how the matter has been resolved both with us as well as internationally at the restaurant. Having said that we will absolutely be giving Great India another chance and I recommend you do as well."
"This might be the best Indian food I’ve had in Salt Lake City. We got chicken tikka Marsala, butter chicken, garlic naan, and samosas. The butter chicken in particular was so flavorful and delicious! The samosas are also huge! Definitely recommend!"
