"While the atmosphere and service were good—my food was a major letdown. I tried three out of their six taco flavors: carnitas, mahi, and steak. And more so in the steak and carnitas, the meat was dried out, tasted old, and the salsa was baked on (too much time under a heat lamp?). Everyone else in our group seemed to enjoy their food, and the chips & salsa were a favorite so I'll give them that. But my $6 tacos were a miss and not worth it. Feb 2024"
"This has been one of my go to spots for great margaritas and food for quite sometime now. They have the best salsa hands down! I do miss the old location of this restaurant, however it is less crammed now. The food here has always been consistently good and I can count on it being a great meal. Their margaritas are to die for, and I enjoy the option of getting a mini margarita as well if I’m not feeling too ambitious for a regular one. The ambiance is inviting and the atmosphere is nice. The service has always been great and everyone is pretty friendly and attentive. Food and drinks were both out to our table in a timely manner. I always recommend this place to friends and family, definitely one of my favorites in Denver!"
"The food really was just ok. Not bad by any means but not great. Steak quesadillas were very average and I’ve had much better. They got our drinks pretty fast, but we sat there with menus in our hands for at least 20 minutes. Service was rather poor but everyone was nice. There’s too many awesome restaurants in Denver to come back here again. I do not recommend."
"I enjoy their margaritas on the rocks, and I appreciate that you can order a "mini margarita" if you don't want a big one. Salsa is always good. I ordered spinach enchiladas, and the plate was so hot when it arrived that the black beans were bubbling and steaming. (I like hot food). Atmosphere is pleasant. Solid choice for "Tex-Mex" food."
"Food was good in general. We are Mexican and, surprisingly, charro beans and tortilla soup were good compared to other Mexican restaurants in America. Quesadilla and taco combos had good taste. Coffee a bit cold. Nice service, really fast at noon, and very nice atmosphere in the place. Decent prices."
