"Initially, I had found this place because I was trying to go to the Mississippi restaurant next-door, but they were closed Upon walking in, I figured the food would be great. The place had a at home vibe and I really like that considering I just moved from home about a year ago. The workers are nice And down to Earth. My order took about 45 minutes as the place very busy near closing time and the food is fresh so didn’t mind. What I ordered came up to be $40. Not bad. The food is pretty good! Rating below. Greens and cabbage-4/5 a bit on the spicy side I like that Yams- 2/5 I wasn’t the biggest fan of the yams, But you make like them! Everyone has different taste buds :) Red beans and rice-3.7/5 I like the consistency and the taste. Mac and cheese -3/5 Cornbread - 3.5/ 5 moist and sweet taste like cake . Chicken -2/5 chicken is mid, it tasted old, and i wasn’t a fan of how it was cooked but you may like it! Pecan pie- 5/5"

"This is the best food that I had when I was in Denver. Hands down the best soul food in the area If I am guessing. You have to give this place a try. The oxtails, cornbread, fried okra, rice and gravy and sweet tea were all on point. I will be going back here If I am ever in the Denver area again. The customer service was awesome as well."

"From the outside, this place doesn't look like much, but the folks working in there are making magic. I had 12 wings and a side of Mac and cheese. The wings were good sized, the honey hot sauce was tasty and plenty used. The Mac and cheese, it was out of this world. One of the guys I was with said he wanted to go back and give whoever made it a kiss, it was that good."
