"Took my friend and her kids to lunch here when I was visiting from out of town. Fast service, great food and our waitress was incredibly friendly and kind! Highly recommend. If you have kids, it's a great stop before or after taking a free tour at the Hammond's Candy Factory near by."
"Coldest weekend of the year, was craving a chicken fried steak. It was a long weekend on MLK day, so I went to try Butcher Block since they were open. It was pretty empty when I went in, I think I was in and out in less than 30 minutes - which was perfect since I was going for a quick bite solo. Restaurant was cozy. Waitress was very welcoming and attentive. Chicken fried steak hit the spot, well seasoned, not too salty. Definitely will be back next time I am craving some diner food done right."
