King Soopers Pharmacy

"My 84 year old grandpa was hospitalized due to an irregular heart beat and blood pressure. The doctor called a rush prescription to the pharmacy. They did not fill it that day and when we came in the next day because his blood pressure began to rise to dangerous levels so we went back to the pharmacy desperately trying to get the medication. The pharmacist scolded my grandma saying that they need to call if it’s a rush and that it won’t be ready till the evening. I explained they did call and he was hospitalized and needed it. She got it ready in 20 MINUTES. And she scolded us again saying we should have called even though we knew the doctor did and the doctor called this morning as well prior to our arrival. Knowing how serious the medication and his age was awful and a lack of human concern."

"I was waiting at the window about 10 minutes from the staffs lunch so I understand I cut it close but the second I pulled up the girl slammed the drape shut on me that says “closed”. So she saw me coming and slammed it shut to avoid helping me. I really needed this medication and she refused to help me because she wanted 10 extra minutes before her actual lunch. This location has the rudest staff who apparently will slam the door on you."

"I called the pharmacy today and was asking about my prescription and what they had in stock. I was thinking about having my doctor send it to this pharmacy. She was so impatient and rude. She answered one question, and I was in the middle of asking her a follow up question, literally mid sentence, and she said “ok goodbye” and hung up on me! I’m absolutely not getting my prescriptions filled here. As someone who works in customer service and worked in grocery for many years, I understand being busy, but that does not give anyone an excuse to treat people like that."

"I gave my prescription to Kyle at the pharmacy. He said 45 minutes because they were busy. The script was for 6 pills. After an hour I still haven’t been called up to the window. I asked what the holdup was and Kyle said he was waiting for the doctor to call him to verify the authenticity of the script. I asked when he called the doctor and he said 45 minutes ago. I called the doctor and was told that they never got a call. I told them what was going on and they called Kyle personally while I was on the line. After the doctors office verified the order for 6 pills, it still took him 30 additional minutes to fill this simple order. The whole time I was there it wasn’t busy and the three in the pharmacy seemed to be having a laughing conversation, which is fine if I wasn’t waiting for 6 pills that took them 1.75 hours and me 5 minutes to push thru. I think this was a ploy to get me to shop the store to add to the King Sooper profits. I asked Kyle for the nurses name that he talked to and how did he verify he got the correct office. He said, “I didn’t get her name and I know I dialed the right number”. My doctor said they got no calls about the script until I called and that if he talked to another doctor office there in the hospital without verifying who he called would a VIOLATION OF COLORADO HIPPA LAW. BE CAREFUL WITH YOUR MEDICAL INFORMATION HERE!"

"I brought my elderly parents in yesterday for their Covid vaccine. Maggie and Julie another young man could not have been nicer to us. They treated my parents with kindness and patience. They were very busy but they acted like my parents were the most important people there. It was so heartwarming. Thank you!"
