"This is a delicious steakhouse in Montrose, CO. They had a wide range of options to choose from. The owner personally greeted us and you could tell, took a genuine interest in his guests. More than that, he wasn't just idle, he was walking around the restaurant and checking up on everything. The portions were generous for the price, what we ordered came with a veggies, soup/salad, and potato side. Definitely worth the drive. I'm glad I found a good one because my favorite one closer to me recently made some unfavorable changes that have turned me off to them so again, glad we encountered Ted's."
"I am a truck driver and have had meals in thousands of restaurants all over the country. I've been to Ted's 10 - 12 times and can only say this about 2 restaurants. I've never had a meal there I didn't thoroughly enjoy. Great food, great service and atmosphere. Highly recommend."
"Greeting was nice the waitress was ok. The ambiance was not that of a restaurant to charge such a high price. The food came and the presentation was bad, just put on the plate. The steak was very good but the sides were average. Fish and chicken were dry and overcooked. Overall a disappointment for us."
"My son took me for birthday dinner tonight, it was our first time there. The first thing I noticed immediately was how friendly every person was from opening the door and greeting us to passing us to the front desk girl to then seat us with another bringing us water and menus to our main waitress Jayme. I don't think we were in there for 10 minutes and we were getting our order taken. Appetizers came out at the perfect time to enjoy before getting our food. Meat was cooked perfectly! Not one bad thing I could say about the food or the staff. Jayme was simply attentive and the true meaning of a perfect waitress. We weren't rushed out, told to take our time. She brought me out desert with a candle on the house and boxed our food up. I will definitely be going back there and recommend this place to anyone!!!"
"Love this place! My wife and came here for our third date many years ago. We’ve moved away from Montrose for a few years now. And I had forgotten how great dining at Ted’s is. And they give you a little dessert without having to order or think about it, because the dinner portions are quite enough. Love the food here! And Ted is still so active in the business. It’s great to see him!"
