Guru's Restaurant

"This restaurant was recommended to us in the community as having a buffet. The website clearly states "all you can eat" and mentions the buffet. When we arrived the signage in the window says "buffet". But when we entered I stepped into the room that had what looked like the tables for serving buffet but they were empty. The waitress said, "No buffet.". I asked, "Ever? Or did we miss it?". (Although the website says it is served until 2:30 PM.). She replied, "Ever.". I suggested they update their website and signage then. She just stared at me and went back to what she was doing. Since that was the only reason we went there, we left. How hard is it to update your website and take a scraper to your window?"

"They sneakily charged us for dinning in. The hostess did not seem to care. The stars are for the good food."

"Got samosas watch were hot and delicious, so good I got another order! The chicken vindaloo was perfect! Lots of tender chicken, perfectly stewed tomatoes, and nice soft potates. We just randomly found this place (we're here from out of town) and I'm sure glad we did! It had plenty of options for all the different dietary needs of our group, which is hard to do. The atmosphere was cozy, and the plateware was even cool! Very highly recommend."

"I got take out and I quite liked it!! This was a post-hike dinner so I was super hungry! I ordered online and the food was ready in about half hour, the time it took me to get there. I got the chicken biryani and the vegetable noodles. I wanted both to be spicy. They were medium spicy. I would've enjoyed more heat. The chicken was cooked well and there was good flavor in the rice. The raita, mint chutney and the salan were also good. The noodles were on the sweeter side but also delicious. Lots of veggies in the noodles, which I really liked. The portions were huge so they lasted me about 3 meals each."

"The curry is very good. The garlic and normal naan is fine but the cheese naan is pretty bad. I think they use American yellow cheese in it and I've never been more disappointed in a cheese naan. I will say that the vegetarian sampler is wonderful even if it is definitely too expensive. The service isn't that great either in my opinion. The server tended to disappear into the back and it can take a little while to get their attention. I feel like it is a staff shortage since they no longer offer the buffet even though it is blatantly advertised on the front of the building. I've been here twice but don't expect to go back."
