The Palmer Apartments

"We LOVE living at the Palmer. I understand why people never move out, lol. We’re in a corner unit that faces the park and we get soooo much natural sunlight! It’s gorgeous. The property is beautiful and they keep up with it very nicely. The park in the back is so nice to have! Everyone seems to have a dog :-) We use the gym weekly and it has everything you need. The arcade area is fun when you have guests over, although wish there was a few more options! The pool is chlorine which I haven’t lived at an apartment with straight chlorine (usually it’s salt water mix) We’ve only needed maintenance once and they came quickly and resolved our issue! My husband uses the coffee machine weekly and enjoys it! The only downside here is the parking, it’s a nightmare. Someone apparently complained about parking on the side and it made parking even more crammed. I usually have to park very far away from my apartment and it’s not easy being pregnant and having to carry things in. So we got a garage and I highly recommend getting a garage! Overall, I’d absolutely recommend living here!!"

"Horrible place to apply to. I mean the lack of organization here is amazing. First, they ran my background check and denied me on my criminal record. What criminal record!?! So I went through the process of the dispute mind you I'm now living in a hotel because of this application process here. Get it back saying whoops sorry im good. So my deposit money has been paid here already 8 days at this point. I'm told credit they can work with so I can give you a guess on what happened next but I don't think you will need it. Denied because of credit?? Mind you I was told they could work with me on the credit part. Just not the background check, and I can understand that but don't lie to me! Now I'm told I'm just flat-out denied. At this point, my hold deposit didn't hold my apartment because of a bad background check now 11 days in they will refund me my money via mail! Are you serious!? Could take up to 3 weeks!! Is what I'm told. And my credit isn't even that bad just some credit cards lot during covid. I just financed a new car about 6 months ago with no problems. Was prepared to pay a whole month's rent deposit as well. But now I am waiting till my money gets refunded no chance I could get my hotel reimbursed as an inconvenience to take it. Smh. If you have a mark against you do not apply run to the next one. I mean I was just approved at the Dang Waterford but I can't live t the Palmer smh. I honestly think it was my tattoos and they just didn't want me living there with my family. Just wanted to put it out there for anyone looking to apply here be prepared for your money to be held if you don't get approved like its so difficult to wire it back instead they have to put it 3 weeks out in the mail on a paper check. Smh. Oh and be prepared for the run around as well property says "Our hands are tied we are waiting on the help desk to do this and that" like why even have people work there if they can't do anything?"

"Been living here for just over a month. We love our apartment. We have a top floor 2 bedroom that faces the park. Love the huge balcony. However, the parking at the back buildings is awful. The spots are narrower than anywhere else. You WILL get door dings without question if you park in these spots. If you get home past 7pm, you'll likely need to park and walk because there are not enough spaces for the amount of apartments. Im already dreading the parking situation for winter."

"I moved from out of state a few months ago. I spent countless hours doing research on apartments that were close enough to my work. I was extremely impressed with the Palmers layouts and amenities but mostly the staff. I was treated like I was a long term resident during my tour. You can tell that they have a sense of community and that they care about the residents. So far, I couldn’t be happier! I love my new apartment, the staff is always happy to help when needed and maintenance is quick to respond to work orders and do a great job of keeping the property clean."
