Old Chicago Pizza + Taproom

"I haven't been to that one before. The male server, he didn't give his name.. . was pretty stressed out for a mellow seeming Monday night. He had 3 tables. He was rushed and barley checked on us much. We usually tip very well after I have been in food service since 94. He only got 20% after we waited for him about 15 minutes for boxes and the check. The plates were messy. The food was pretty okay. The menu isn't very informational. The glass wasn't clean around the dining area. Everything felt a bit sticky. I'll probably not go back."

"First time experience was horrible! Ordered pizza online for curbside pickup. I received a text that my pizza would be ready at 7:55pm and to text when I park in their designated curbside parking spots. I get there at 8pm and text them that I’m here. I get a text back saying they are finishing up my order and we’ll be right out. No show at 8:25pm, so I go in and wait for a host for 5 min at front entrance. A young girl finally notices me! I ask let her know the situation and she looks confused and says will check the kitchen. She comes out hands me the pizza and says sorry. I get home within 5 minutes and the pizza is cold. Worst first experience and will be my last."

"I hadn't ever eaten here before, so i was excited to try the pizza so many people talk about..The service was great, our server was friendly and quick.. we had their pizza roll type appetizers (can't remember what they're called) and they were really good... and we ordered a pizza to share... that was a disappointment to say the least...the pizza was undercooked towards the middle and the crust wasn't thoroughly cooked. It was really doughy in the center and a wee but cold... kinda ruined the whole experience. It's a nice place to go, hang out and visit with friends, but I won't spend that kind of money on another pizza here. The appetizers were good though..."

"My husband, my son, and I went to this location on Sunday evening. As the hostess was seating us I asked her if she could bring us a high chair. She responded with, “no, because you’re sitting in a booth”. My son is not even a year old, so I was a bit confused. I then asked our waiter, am I not allowed to get a high chair, because that’s what the hostess told me. He of course was accommodating, and was apologetic. He was a great waiter. However, not once did the manager come over and apologize to us for the girl’s rude behavior. Definitely will not be coming back to this location."

"I just moved to the area and wanted to give old Chicago a try. It turned out to be one of the worst pizzas I’ve ever had. The sun dried tomatoes were so burnt it tasted like what I would expect the things that fall to the bottom of the grill would taste like. Charcoal and dusty. Cheese was missing on over half of the slices. I called to give them the chance to refund my order before leaving an honest review and picture. They put me on hold to talk to a manger but I hung up after waiting for 10 minutes. I ate one slice and had to throw the rest away as it was not edible and just went to bed hungry. Woke up the next morning with bathroom problems. Overall this was a bad experience because of poor quality pizza, customer service and way overpriced for $45 for a large pizza and bites. I will not be returning."
