"We were in Des Moines and I wanted bar food so my husband took me here for lunch. (We live in rural Iowa) The service was excellent, Lisa was the bartender's name. And that was some of the best bar food we've ever eaten! He has a bacon cheeseburger and I had a grinder. The food came out rather quickly and the prices were reasonable. Will definitely go back next time we're in town."
