"Modern Heating & Air has got to be the best outfit in the Des Moines Metro area for all your HVAC needs. I cannot recommend them highly enough- not sleezy, not pushy, not trying to find ways to upcharge you. Super professional but also super chill. I felt like each person I interacted with became my buddy and I'm pretty picky about my buddies. Just do it. Work with them. For the those who want a longer story: I had an old system that needed to be replaced. The sales guy that worked with me (Corbin) was fantastic. Listened to what I needed, did a great in-person survey of the house, and gave me honest and informative answers to my many questions. He didn't push me or try to upsell me on crap I didn't need. He gave me several options within my budget and walked me through the cost/benefits of each option. Super helpful. He found me some discounts and worked it all out with my schedule. Fast and smooth process with regular check-ins along the way. The install team was even better. Really cool guys who were all professional, clean, well-mannered, and funny. (Listening to their friendly banter while they worked was quite entertaining.) Aaron (install leader) was again very knowledgeable, walked me through everything they were doing, answered my questions, and did a great job. They left the place better than they found it in every way, and did it fast. They had to do a lot of stuff as they were refitting and upgrading from an old system over 30 years old but they got it all done in less than 8 hours. A week later, the system is running great and hasn't given us any problems at all. The new thermostat has been easy to use and everything about our air system is better now. I can't recommend these guys enough and will be telling all my friends about them."
