"There's no pressure to leave which is sometimes found in other stores. You can take your time, the Starbucks is also not too far in and just right. Price wise, it is on the pricy side of book stores, but you'll find nice and crisp books (usually), which make good gifts."

"We came in on Monday to see if they had a book in stock, and they said that they do but it was on hold until Wednesday. Which was fine, so today (Wednesday) I called the store to see if they still had it available and if I can buy the book and they said that I can buy it at 7pm. We came in inquiring about the book, and manager, Roxanne slammed her fist on the counter and said no. She also said she will find out the employee’s name who told us false information and basically threatened him/her which is totally uncalled for. I nearly grasped, I was so startled and felt like I was being scolded like a child. I understand that holidays are extremely hard for employees but that level of employee-to-customer interaction was completely uncalled for."

"In my experience Barnes and Nobles are usually calmer, with more chairs to sit and digest in. It's a great place to stop if you're going through the mall anyway, but I wouldn't recommend spending a few hours here during peak time unless you're willing to put up with a lot of foot traffic. Staff was friendly and the place was clean, if not a touch weirdly organized."

"Great Barnes and Noble with all the new stuff and a local Iowa section. Prices are premium compared to Amazon but you can’t beat the feel of walking through the store and checking everything out. Great kids section and board games. Coffee shop inside. Bathrooms inside. Love the store!"
