"Growing up, I recall Maher Brothers as an Iowa City institution for all things related to moving and storage. Their "bankers boxes" have been a favorite for decades. It's nice that the business is still thriving. There is a PDF document on their website that describes the first 100 years of service from 1922-2022. Hopefully the next 100 years will be just as innovative."

"I had a great experience with the Maher Brothers moving company! I was moving across the country and was very pleased with their communication and service. They came at the time they said to pack up my boxes and furniture and had everything packed up in less than an hour! They were willing to work with my schedule for the delivery as well. They called the day before to confirm the time of dropoff and then arrived right on time. The movers who came were polite, professional and efficient. They unloaded everything, helped place my furniture where I wanted and took all the empty boxes with them after we were done, which saved my mom and I a huge number of trips ourselves!
