Pizza Ranch

"About 430 pm 02/24/2024. My daughter-in-law spent $62 treating us to buffet. Here is the thing, only about 1% of the food was ever at the buffet, yet they still kept taking customers' money. Another thing, they ran out of clean dishes, so they finally started gathering dishes (short staffed, yes!), but they didn't wipe the tables. Short staff, no food, many customers: big profits! The food was okay, but only one or two pizzas, remnants of fruit pizza, though the chicken was adequately stocked. The place should have stopped accepting customers, as the place was virtually without food, clean tables, or plates."

"I will start with the food was good and hot. The selection was minimal. The atmosphere was aweful. Loud. Kids running everywhere. I have been in many locations and this by far was the worst experience. We ate quickly and left. We will definitely not return to this location. I was hoping to find a way to vent other than publicly but there were no comment cards or other way I could find to voice my experience."

"We visited around 1 p.m. on Sunday and the salad bar was in need of attention, pizza on the bar was just average, so we had a pizza baked for our table and it was pretty good. The young men clearing tables were excellent and extremely helpful clearing plates. Soda machine was out of diet coke, we notified the staff when we got there but was never corrected. Fried chicken was excellent."

"After reading some of these stupid 1 star reviews, I figured I’d give this place a 5 star based on their photos and other reviews. Can’t believe anyone would give a small business a 1 star review over some of the silly things. Now the one lady that paid $47 for her food that never got delivered, should’ve got her money back. I’ve never eaten here and I’ve never even been to Iowa. Sitting here watching caucus and saw the Fox News guy on there. Place looks delicious! I’ll be sure to try it if I’m ever out that way. "We had a birthday party at Pizza Ranch this past week. Bruce set us up with one of their party rooms as we had a group of about 20 people. Bruce and his crew couldn't have been more accommodating! Bruce told us they would be more than happy to prepare any kind of pizza for us if we didn't already see it on the buffet. We ran a little past our alotted time, but Bruce and his crew just worked around us as we were preparing to leave. We were so impressed, we booked another party room for a gathering of 40 people next summer. Thank you Bruce and crew for such a pleasant experience!!!! We appreciated everything you did to make our grandsons' first birthday so special!"
