"Everytime I have tried to call to have a professional business conversation Dillon has just hung up the phone. Completely unprofessional and this has not only happened once but THREE times. Won't ever gain my business with the way they operate on business level."
"Had a pallet that was to be delivered on 7/31/2023, but the terminal did not load it on the delivery truck as it was a home delivery and they didn't k ow if I had a way to unload it. They didn't call me, I called them when I seen it was out for delivery to get an estimated delivery time. That is when I found out it was not on the truck. We had customers that were promised product on 7/31/2023. We pride ourselves on delivering what we promise our customers so we had to drive an hour to Cedar Rapids to pick up our pallet at the Dayton frieght terminal. Pick up was easy enough, but no apology from Dayton for not having it on the truck or not calling us before the truck left the termial to see if we had a mean to unload. Cost us $38 in fuel and four hours of our time to pick up our pallet and make home deliveries to our accounts to fulfill their orders as promised. This all could have been avoided with a simple phone call up front by Dayton Frieght. Very disappointed in the service provided for this delivery. Really let us down and cost us time and money."
