"Booked online but when came in, receptionist said we have to pay again because they didn’t process the payment online yet. Which defeats the whole point of booking online. Bed had several hair on pillows and sheets. Breakfast was just ok but below average."

"We stayed here this past weekend. Check in was fast and friendly. Our room #304 was spacious and very clean. Ice machine located around the corner. The room was the perfect temp so we didn't need to turn on the a/c. The beds were very comfortable and had lots of pillows. Breakfast was fabulous and no extra charge. Good coffee to start followed by waffles, scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy and fruit. There's cereal, toast and many more breakfast items available. The hotel is convenient for traveling but not central to anything else. It also has a pool. We will definitely be staying here when we come through Altoona again."

"Clean fresh rooms. Everyone in my party had no issues with any of the three rooms. Front desk clerk was especially professional, and had even called to make sure we were going to be there as it we were in town for the state fair. Definitely will stay again."

"Very clean and nice hotel, on par with other Comfort Inn I've stayed at. Room was exceptionally tidy and clean, and the layout of the room (1 king bed) is great, with the little fridge/microwave/coffee machine nook. The shower only (no bath) was squeaky clean and had warm water and good water pressure. Complimentary breakfast in the morning was also pretty complete and filling. Warm eggs, sausage and grit (?) Or mashed potatoes (?), not sure about this last one haha, didn't try it. There's also small muffins, breakfast muffin bread, normal bread, cold cereals and warm oats, individual yogurts, fruits (apple, bananas, oranges), pancake/waffle maker as well as hard boiled eggs. 3 sorts of juice too. My only complain and the reason I took off one star is that the pool was out of service and it wasn't mentioned anywhere in the description, which is a real bummer for me as it was one of the reason why I booked here. I made use of the gym however, which is good and well ventilated, but yeah, I was looking forward to a little swim. Other than that, I very much enjoyed my stay."
