"The apartments are beautiful. Great layout and space. New appliances. Big windows. We love our apartment. I took off one star because of the landscape. There is not enough grass for a place that is as dog friendly as this one. And the dog park is just a pile of mud, so we rarely go there unless it’s dry. Took off another star because there is so much poop and trash outside. Residents are dirty. They leave bottles of beer and soft drinks outside. The poop problem is the worst. The sad part is, it doesn’t seem like poo prints is used at all, because we see poop everywhere all the time when walking our dogs. It’s hard to avoid it, so I don’t think the apartment complex is diligent with following through with clean up of poop. I’ve been to dog parks cleaner than this apartment complex. It’s sad. There is potential for greatness. I would suggest focusing on trying to keep the outdoor areas clean. I hate walking my dogs because of all the poop and trash."

"I absolutely love living at the Emery. My daughter and I both live here in separate apartments. We’ve been treated by the management team with Grace and dignity through a family emergency. It’s nice to live in a rental that treat you like family I’ll be forever grateful to have Havercamp Camp properties and their management team. Reading the negative reviews are disheartening because hasn’t been my experience at all. Apartment living always has some negatives but the Emery by far has been my best apartment living experience in over 30 years of apartment living."

"I lived at The Emory for about two and a half years, and I had my likes and dislikes. First I’ll start off by saying I really liked the design of the place. Hardwood floors, big windows and the patio was really nice. In apartment washer and dryer is a must so that was good. The halls are pretty spacious so moving furniture wasn’t too much of a hassle. I have a dog and walked him around the entire complex, they have doggy cleanup areas almost everywhere. They also just built an area for your dog to run around which was also nice. Parking wasn’t much of a problem, there are always spots available but they may not have been right at your building (I didn’t complain). The pool and clubhouse is really nice and you’re able to rent the clubhouse out for your own event. A free gym too? How could you not want that? And they also have a dog wash bay with a full bath and dryer. The staff is amazing, the maintenance guys always greeted my pup whenever they had to come in and repair. Now for the downsides in my experience. It’s not a secured building, which could be a good thing or a bad thing but anyone was able to walk into the buildings. The one thing I have with the layout is you have to walk through the bedroom(s) to get to the bathrooms, which is odd when you have guests. And it is off of 34th so that road can get pretty busy during rush hour. Otherwise again, the staff was great to talk to. They go through an app for the community chat wall to discuss about what’s going on, and that’s where you can request any sort of maintenance problem. Would definitely recommend anyone I know to apply."

"Transitioned from a house to a 3 bedroom apartment. The area is spacious enough to where it feels like home for me and my kiddos. Modern/Industrial interior design gives it an inviting appeal to encourage entertaining. The staff has been amazing so far and talking with the neighbors if there's ever a service issue they are on it right away. Love the experience so far."

"Edit 3-11-23 -added pics as well : I feel that the Emory does not feel shoveling snow or walkways are important or laying salt or sand . When you have physically restricted and elderly living here , you would think our safety would be paramount? ! I don’t feel that it is at all . Let along the apt windows with moisture coming in and building up on most windows and door to patio . EDIT :************ The response the complex gave i feel is completely inaccurate to put it lightly . There was no attempt to shovel or lay sand down at all since the first major snow . Multiple tenants that I am aware complained about the hazardous driving and walking conditions. Also on top of the fact when I tried to get cooperates number , nobody would give it to me , as I stated in my previous review I tried emailing -no response-and when I called , the lady didn’t take my concerns appropriately. If they had , sand would have been laid down and sidewalks shoveled . This was also a week before the wind/snow storm . I have pictures stating otherwise * The apartments are new and look nice . However the ability to work with the complex is extremely challenging. We have had snow and ice all week and we can’t get salt or sand down for our safety . Mind you we have physically handicapped people and physically restricted people who live here but they don’t seem to care . What a shame if they were to fall or get stuck in a pile of snow and freeze ! Not to mention not salting or sanding their entrance/exit . Ive asked for a cooperate number as well and they refuse to give it to me . I’ve emailed my concerns as well and no response . I would say move out before winter or take your chances falling or wrecking your vehicle in their complex ."
