"We stayed here this last weekend. The service was great. The staff met whatever requests I had. A small laundry room was available. The vending machines carried items not usually found such as laundry soap and shampoo. The room was clean and adequate. We’d stay here again. Thank you Studio 6 for a wonderful weekend of rest!! I didn’t see the issues listed in the previous reviews by the way."

"Good inexpensive hotel. Not fancy. Just enough to get by. But it felt very clean for being a dated place. And I don't mean it was dated in furniture that seemed new just the building itself"

"BUGS! No coffee in room or anywhere else, no shampoo (sold in vending machine for $9.50), only super cheap bar soap for a shower. Room smelled musty like an old refrigerator that hasn’t been plugged in for a year (oddly, the large fridge was new). No pool towel, hallways half painted, doors locked around facility, had to walk all the way around the building to get to the pool I was right next to. Tons of garbage and old beds outside rotting in to rain in between the handicap parking and the side entrance. Exterior doors with broken locks, left totally insecure right next door to 24/7 truck stop. Awful service, woke up with bug bites. They charged $160/night for this headache. EDIT: Bugs confirmed. There was only one fake review on here when I booked a couple days ago. Please read the Motel 6 Altoona reviews, this is the same place and they’re trying to hide their reviews with a name change. Apparently this place has been like this for years. Rude staff, homeless camping in the parking lot and, again, the exterior of the building has no locks. Garbage rotting in the lot is so prevalent and gross. Mildew smell is coming from AC unit. Turned it to heat and it smelled like a mouse had been living in there. Nasty smells are unavoidable. The people and owners here truly do not care about the place or the guests or decency. They CANCELLED a man’s $75 RESERVATION yesterday less than an hour before his arrival so they could sell the room for $160 because the state fair is going on. Awful business, awful hotel, awful experience, I’m embarrassed to say I stayed here."

"Don't buy the hype. This place is a pit. Dirty, filthy, smells like an ashtray, staff is patronizing, no continental breakfast of any type, backs up to a truck stop. We thought we found a deal. Found a fake. Gross. They are trying to clean it up and call it a Studio 6. Dont buy into it. Over priced 1 star hotel at best"
