"Any staff that my mom and I encountered were very welcoming and helpful. Kim, the receptionist was above and beyond nice. Kylee, the NP, was very kind and was very good at working with my mom. She met with Dr. Lesiak, then he came in with all kinds of info on options of care. It was a very easy, informative appointment and didn’t take long, including x-rays. My mom was nervous to go but came out very happy and hopeful. I highly recommend this place and I don’t often give reviews."

"Herniated a disc in my back shoveling snow in February, so bad I couldn't even walk due to numbness and weakness from the nerves being impinged. After going to the OrthoNebraska west ER location, I was referred to Dr. Hahn at the Aksarben location. Dr. Hahn's nurses were wonderful--kind, welcoming, encouraging. Dr. Hahn was great at listening to my concerns, diagnosing the problem, and quickly getting me on appropriate meds and ordering the MRI that confirmed his diagnosis. Dr. Hahn is professional, reassuring, knowledgeable, and takes the time to explain/teach patients about their condition, procedures, and what to expect for recovery. Dr. Hahn recommended spinal injections of steroids, and the whole process was quick and efficient. Between Dr. Hahn and my PT--who he recommended to me--I started improving weekly, and by week 10 was fully recovered. My strength and mobility is back to normal, and I am SO relieved to have been able to avoid surgery."

"I tried to check into the Urgent Care for severe back pain. The back pain started after a surgery for a SCS, but my doctor swears its not related. I went to the walk in and the receptionist without hearing more than I had backpain insisted they couldn't see me and couldn't give me pain pills. I dont want nor have I ever sought out pain pills. I simply want someone to help me figure out what is causing the pain. I don't understand how in less than 5 minutes the receptionist knew they couldn't treat me. Seemed like she immediately labeled me as a drug seeker. I legit had a 200,000 piece of equipment implanted in my back to avoid pain pills for a different issue. Yet the receptionist made the decision I couldnt be treated for back pain and wanted pain pills. At that point I broke into tears. She did go back to talk to a doctor who again without ever seeing me or even talking to me said there was nothing they could do. They offered me an appointment but made it clear there was nothing they could do to help me. They stressed they couldn't give me pain pills. It was clear they didn't want to see me. But would take my money for the appointment. I left broken, in tears, and without an ounce of help. I honestly am at a lost of where to go. The absolute way they looked down at me, told me they couldnt help, labeled me a drug seeker, and never once even LOOKED at me. It's gross. I am completely let down. Again, the doctor couldn't even bother to see me."
