"My PRP experience wasn't anything to write home about. But there are two things that Ortho Nebraska might do that would improve the experience. One would be to provide patients with food and supplement information so that patients know what can affect the PRP procedure negatively. In lieu of that plan on going to the internet to make sure you don't take the wrong supplement before and after the procedure. I was told not to take ibuprofen, which was good to know. But there is a lot more to it than that. The second thing Ortho Nebraska could do is to connect patients with a physical therapist so that the patient knows what is beneficial exercise and what is harmful exercise after the PRP procedure. I found a medical organization in Arizona that connects patients within a week of the procedure as part of their normal protocol. Seems like a great idea. Again, you can find lots of great information on the internet if it comes to that."

"I held off a bit before leaving a review because of billing that will be coming up soon, and Im hoping all will go smoothly. I had ankle surgery in early July with Dr. Mike Thompson. From initial check-in my lady was so nice and accommodating. She took us into the office and got us checked in and onto the next stage of pre-surgery. I was taking back to change into gown, another outstanding team member. The entire surgical team was empathetic and amazing! I was in quite a bit of pain waking up from surgery but they were able to give me something to help. Checkout a breeze. I even received a card signed and personalized from the nurses that were there that day. I hope the billing part goes without a hitch. Great hospital & staff."
