"Kids. Like legit kids run this store. First their POS system is the original from like 1970. I asked to buy a gift card for $20. They needed to know who it was going to because they were going to Hand write it in a book to make sure that person claims it? So what if the person I bought it for gave it to his kids to use, would they be denied? Then she charged me tax to purchase the gift card. I explained that taxes shouldn’t be charged when buying a gift card but only when USING the gift card or you’ll be charging customers tax twice. The child behind the counter told me I was wrong and taxes are charged when purchasing them. This place has been hit or miss with me multiple times, think I’m moving on to another local shop."
"The Strawberry Patch has a lot of local options which is great! I do however, wish they had a larger selection of UNI clothes and more stock on popular sizes. Most of the Ankeny shirts I wanted to buy had my size sold out. It would be awesome and appreciated if they stocked up on more M and L sizes as they seem to go the fastest!"
