"One of my favorite local spots to relax & spend quality time with family & friends. They have learn to skate classes & skate trainers to support beginning skaters. Skate rental & sales. Food counter, arcade games & tickets for prizes, music, parties & hockey. Also do fundraising, adult nights, & half price specials regularly. Great local family owned business. Sidenote. they often have their adorable doggos with them, sometimes you get to see them & that's a cute little bonus. Five stars for Skate South."
"Price was decent, rink was slick. There is no rules on the rink other than not carrying your kids, you can skate any direction and cause falls... the handicapped parking spots was used as a snow dump which I'm pretty certain is against the law."
"Loads of fun. Definitely recommended for the whole family. -The location is only open for a few chunks of time during the week -The crowd that shows up makes the place lively and crazy without being overwhelming or anxiety inducing. -The DJ booth keeps decent tabs on the crowd and will remove problematic people doing the wrong thing. -Prices are reasonable. -Skates and skate "mates" are also available to rent. -Skate mate rentals ($5) must be used by one skater only (a wristband is required). And this policy *is* highly enforced. -Group skate games/contests are held frequently. It's a safe place to learn to skate and have fun."
"Go early before it starts getting busy. I don't recommend ordering fries because it's a long wait. Our first order was burnt really bad and the young girl at the counter told us "that's how they're supposed to be." Umm, no. So we had them make us another batch and that took a while as well. Over all it was fun."
"We had the BEST time for a 15 year old birthday party. Thank you Skate South and all the great staff for laying out a nice spread and service the was absolutely awesome. Fair price, for the party for 8, especially with all it it included. Definitely would recommend it and do it again❤️"
