"Self check outs are never running, yet there's always only one checker. I know there's rarely any real business anymore, (really only during Nationals) but, when one does shop there, they shouldn't have to wait in line to check out when there's perfectly good self check outs and a multitude of empty check out lanes available. Also, Hy-Vee is 1 of 3 "grocers" in town. None of which carry everything we need, although they used to. This means it's necessary to go to at least 2 places to get everything needed. I've spoken with all 3 to ask about the missing items, and explain how frustrating it's become. All 3 assured me that it would be easy to resume carrying what is missing. However, months later nothing has changed. They still don't carry the items, they still don't use the self check lanes and they still only have one checker available. Last, it's now necessary to check around before making particular purchases. While all 3 used to actually be competitive in regards to pricing, it's no longer that way. So, in addition to the ridiculous prices we're now forced to pay across the board, BB; h&&."
