"Went in to get gas this morning. Pump took 20 from the app but wouldn't let me get gas. Went inside to fix it. Grey haired lady at register asked me what I wanted her to do about it. (It was 645 a.m. Feb 5th 2024. Hopefully they fire her) condescendingly 10 times. Well I wanted gas. She then went on a tangent about how this happens to me all the time. She remembers. Nah this is the first time. I have the receipts from every fill-up. She clearly hates her job as every time I go in there she's on her phone and incredibly rude to everyone. Think it's time to retire. Or hopefully be fired. Eh maybe the quality will go up once it's maverik and they can everyone. Still looking for that 20 back."

"They overcharged our card by $15, claimed there was a glitch in the system, and would not make it right."

"I had an unfortunate incident with Sam, a store manager at this location. He informed me that the card reader was defective AFTER I'd run my CC. The system gave me cash back, even though I had declined cash back, the "no" button. Sam said, "I have to give you cash back because it rang up that way." I made it clear that I had declined it. He acted like he did not care. I asked him to cancel the transaction and he said that he could not, that I was stuck with the cash I never requested. I said, "How are you going to solve this?" He said there was no solution i.e. it sucks to be me, f-off, etc. There was no attempt by Sam to think bigger, to tell me that he could have CJ, the store manager, contact me to address the problem. In fact, the more I insisted, the more walled off Sam became. Sam may be a good guy, maybe not, I have no idea. What I do know is that this is about training managers in problem solving and conflict de-escalation. It totally soured me to coming into this Kum and Go. Instead, I will drive to Quik Trip, which is much further away but where I know the people there are trained on how to handle customer issues. I hope somebody in Kum and Go Corporate reads this although I have little hope since none of these 18 reviews, many of which are negative, have been responded to by anyone at Corporate. Also, the website click through associated with this location leads to "page not found." The optics of this - the marketing - are disturbing. They are the reason why I started a customer service training company sixteen years ago. Still, even this has a solution. It is never too late to do the (W)right thing and I am hopeful that someone at Kum and Go Corporate cares enough to reach out to me. Meantime, if you are going to hire human beings to take care of other human beings, please make sure you train them on how to engage customers at a high level. We all deserve it. Especially Sam."

"It would be convenient if you put out of order signs on your gas pumps that aren’t working so we don’t pull up and get out to use them."
