"Done business with them for 50 years. Started out great and now you can't get anyone to talk to you. Tried home office and also my rep. Tehy didn't even call back."
"The company is a joke. We are still working on a death claim for my mother that we started over a year ago. The "representatives" on the account refuse to return our calls. We call into the corporate office and our address does not get updated correctly by the employees so the next employee make us feel like we are not responding to letters. We updated the address on our individual certificates and the death claim at least 5 times. The only way we were able to get an appropriate response/ help from the company was to file a complaint with the Virginia SCC. The worst part about it is we had to go to the courts to be declared guardians of our son's estate, but only because we wanted to move the money to a more reputable financial institution. Woodmen felt like it was in his best interest to leave it at Woodmen earning ~1%, but the other financial institution could earn him significantly more. The next hurdle is trying to get a check reissued and they claim they sent letters...to the old address that has been updated by myself and my husband multiple times. If you are looking to purchase products with Woodmen, please consider carefully as your representatives do not call you back, don't move or update your address, and they will make you jump through hoops to prove you are in fact your child's guardian."
"I was heading home from visiting my wife in her hospital room at University of Nebraska Medical Center Lied transplant section. As I went along I noticed The Woodmen Tower was lit up like a flag. It was fascinating and ready for Memorial Day as well as the 4th of July. I hope you enjoy the photos as much as I enjoyed taking them. Hats off to salute the Woodmen Insurance's patriotic display showing Omaha's American Heritage."
"I've been a business owner in the Woodmen Tower for 27 years it's a beautiful building a place with bank and credit union. If you love great food the 5th floor has luxury dinning with a view with a team of great cooks that serve breakfast lunch & dinner you can even get a haircut at the hair salon. Nash's Auto Waxing is located on "C level where you can have your car washed or detailed with a choice of interior cleaning hand waxing or machine polishing by a experienced staff since 1972."
