"We went to this location after the Des Moines outlet didn’t have the specific model we were looking to exchange for. Everything was going great until the gentleman at the counter had to call his manager to be walked through the exchange process. Robert the manager stated that the glasses have to be returned in original condition and proceeds to argue when being told the manager of the other location agreed to do a return because the pair originally purchased was a display and had light scratches. We were also told by Robert that we had to make the exchange at the Minneapolis location where they were originally purchased even after explaining that customer service and the other manager stated that the pair of glasses could be brought into the nearest location. Robert then needed 5 minutes to call his boss and finally decided to do the return. After getting to the end of the return process he says he can’t exchange them for the same exact model because two pairs of glasses were initially purchased with a 30% off coupon so the price had changed, luckily we had this other pair and ultimately decided to just return them both and purchase them at a different location where the manager there unfortunately had to apologize for his actions."

"Absolutely HORRIBLE experience; would give a zero if I could. The employee who eagerly sold me a pair of Ray-Bans a few weeks ago refused to address the paint peeling off the frames because: (a) it doesn’t just come off without you having done something to them; and (b) you didn’t buy the protection plan (which conveniently doesn’t cover paint peel; this is not a “scratch”. I have purchased numerous pairs of sunglasses over the years but will no longer do so based on this breathtakingly poor lack of service or support."

"I went to sunglasses hut in Jordan Creek mall with my husband and daughter today. We had full intention of buying glasses today. As soon as we walk in, a lady approaches us and asks that we wait outside, because they are at max capacity. Absolutely understandable. We stepped out and waited outside the store for 10 minutes - no issues or complaints. A couple had walked out at that point, so naturally we thought we could go in because a couple left and we were essentially replacing that couple for capacity. Well we were shopping around and trying glasses on when an additional customer walked in and that same lady asked that we step out due to being at max capacity. She said, “Guys, we’re almost done... I asked that you wait outside.” We stated that we did wait and that a couple walked out so we assumed we were able to come in as we replaced their place. She said that they were already over capacity while that couple was in the store and that we needed to step out and how if we wanted to be in the store we needed to put on our masks. All while she was helping 2 other customers that were not wearing masks?? Now, I am not sure if she was discriminating due to our young age and if she thought we were going to be time wasters or some sort of trouble, but she was treating us specifically different than any other person that was in that store. I understand enforcing rules, but when you are selecting which customers to enforce those rules with - seems a bit odd."
