"My husband and I stayed in Banyan Tree Penthouse #405 for four weeks. The view from the lanai is unbelievable! Morning coffee and sunset with a glass of wine were fabulous. After 15 times in Hawaii, it was the first time when the lanai was functional all day. Sometimes we had lunch or early dinner there, which was still very comfortable. The place is well organized and has everything you need, even for an extended stay. The location is excellent. It's about 3 miles from Kona, 5 minutes driving from incredible snorkeling in Kahulu'u Park, and an enjoyable 30 minutes driving to Two Steps, one of the best snorkeling places in all Hawaii state. The building and the condo aren't new, but they are clean, well maintained, and quiet. The owner was easy to communicate with. I recommend staying in this place. You'll see the sunsets in your dreams when you get home to the mainland."
