Waikiki Heritage Hotel

"Checked in and went to our room to find there was only a blanket on one bed - so I tucked my sound asleep kids in, and I went to the front desk to ask about a blanket for the other bed. She said, "We don't have any more blankets, I gave you three sheets." (Not the case, there were two sheets to go on a unmade bed). And I said, "So we just don't get a blanket?" and she responded, "I don't know what to tell you, I don't have any blankets." She was incredibly rude and not at all helpful. So at 8:45 at night after 15 hours of travel, one of us has to go back out to look for a blanket."

"We had booked online through Expedia and were told there were no hidden fees. We thought everything was already paid so all we had to check in. However once we got there, we had to pay $900 total for 5 days because of hidden fees. The parking was also a problem. We were renting a car so obviously we had to make sure we didn't damage it in any way. The parking at this hotel is so tight that we were worried about scratching it. In addition to that we had to pay $50 each day we used the parking space. The rooms were unsanitary. We had booked two separate rooms since we were a big group. One room of my group, everyone got sick. They got sore throats and were coughing a lot. In my room, it was dusty and smelled so bad, to top it off the bathroom had molds and dirty spots. So even if you kept the room "clean" it was still pretty messy looking. Overall my experience with this hotel is bad and I'm never going back even if it is a few minutes walking distance away from the beach and the shopping centers."

"The rooms is so gross! The bathroom smells and with bugs (and I went in winter time). No hair dryers so be sure to bring yours. They claim they have 5 parking spaces but 4 of them are for compact cars (probably smaller than that). Only 1 parking space (space 5) fits a normal size car. Stay away from this hotel if possible!"

"Hey everyone, I want to share my experience I had this past weekend with my family. When we checked in, the room was nothing like what was shown in the photos. The rooms were invested with bugs. 5 of my family members got bed bugs which we were all in different rooms. I was so upset. The rooms smell dusty. The showers had mold and to told it off the rooms weren't even properly cleaned. Once, we would ask for extra towels or toilet paper the staff would be very rude and upset. We asked for extra pillows the only had 2 extra pillows when we had 3 rooms. If you lose key, they will charge you 150 and they will charge you 50 to opened it. Once we checked out, we had no access to restroom so we asked the front desk and one of the staff was screaming to my aunt who doesn't speak English. RUDE STAFF, DON'T GIVE THEM BUSINESS!!"

"Good location. 4 of us shared room. Bathroom is spacious, fridge, kitchen sink. Swimming pool is open 9-5 which is insane- we couldn’t get in since we were hiking during day. Hotel up charge $25/day for amenities ( not mentioned this at Booking website)."
