"I had a safety issue at this circle k location while working as a temp for shift smart. 5685 s eastern avenue. I was doing outside cleaning duties on my 8am-12pm shift this morning. A customer pulls up to the pump I was cleaning, honking their horn and cursing at me to get out of their way. The pumps become crowded and I decide to start another cleaning task until the traffic dies down a bit. I went inside to grab a drink and I came back out and started sweeping up litter. I came in this morning and the manager Michelle was already sniping at me. When I was sweeping she shouted to get my attention since I had my headphones in (nothing was playing) and I was startled. She then tells me I need to stop what I'm doing and head back over to the pumps and sweep the litter up there. I told her that I had just finished cleaning all of the pumps down, as well as the screens and buttons, and I wiped down the aluminum. I told also told her that a customer and I just had an altercation, and that I started another cleaning task to avoid further conflict. She then tells me that she doesn't care and that the gas pumps are a priority. She completely disregarded my safety, and proceeded to talk about me in front of her subordinates as if I was refusing to do the work. She said that she doesn't want anyone here who is lazy and doesn't want to do any work". I felt as though she was being racist at that point. I had only taken a small break to get something to drink after having been clocked in for over an hour, and she jumped down my throat as if I was slacking the entire time. They refused to give me a clock out code and wouldn't let me see one with any personal identifiers of mine. Michelle finally gave a subordinate my code and this man was trying to bully me to clock out, but I didn't have any service. I came here to work and these people attacked me for literally no reason. Every time I tried to walk away, Michelle came back arguing with me. It was completely unnecessary, and I felt like I was at risk o being hurt considering I don't know anyone there. This was my first time working with all of them, and I was handled poorly. She does not need to be anyone’s manager or working at circle k."

"Meh, not terrible, but Jess nothing that stands out as good and it’s kind of dirty dingy needs a paint job. It only has four pumps, and it’s frustrating when they put up the barriers like this to block themselves from the neighbors."
