"BEWARE OF FRAUDULENT CARD ACTIVITY! My debit card was used twice after using it to pump gas here. The first time the transaction didn’t work, but the second time they got $26. Pay inside or go someplace else. Not worth the 2 cents savings."

"BEWARE! Merchant will place $100 hold on your DEBIT card for pumping gas. No matter the amount you pump, they will take $100 from you. Must be a new scam for them since charging people a debit card transaction fee. Funds take up to 5 days to be returned to your bank account. Seems like a fraudulent charge to me as a consumer especially since there is no signage posted. I would not trust this merchant and be wary of other MAVERICK stations/private entities for doing the same. I encourage patrons who have experienced this unethical business practices write a review and report it to our state Attorney General for consumer protection. When I called my bank to explain this unauthorized charge, they stated the merchant is doing this to protect themselves from fraud. They also disclosed that over 50 people are calling in a week to report this."
