"I had a frustrating experience with Quest last year in which two different employees led me to believe that I could receive services from them, only to unceremoniously turn me away a few weeks later. Now that I’ve established mental health care elsewhere that’s meeting my needs, I recognize that Quest was not the appropriate clinic for me to receive care from in the first place. I believe the Quest employees involved in my case were well-intentioned but overwhelmed by demand for services and ended up communicating with me in a manner that missed the forest through the trees (namely, they should have turned me away immediately as not fitting their mission instead of letting me wait for two weeks before telling me I couldn’t be seen). The number of reviews here from people who believe they were turned away for random or arbitrary reasons suggests to me that Quest has significant room to improve communication with potential clients during the intake process. Despite my negative experience, I recognize that Quest serves an important role in the Reno-Sparks community and I hope they’re able to improve their internal proceses to avoid ruffled feathers with other people in the future."
"I went there for evaluation. Two weeks later they called me saying I’m sorry since you have a disability and we don’t have anyone who has experience in the disability we can’t see you. Even though I wasn’t going there for my disability. If you have a disability don’t go there."
"If i could give zero stars i honestly would, i cant even base my rating on their therapy due to the fact that I cannot even get in CONTACT with this place, I have called multiple times and each time my call is answered, the person on the other end suddenly acts like they cant hear me and hangs up????? For being recommended here by a friend, i thought this would be a great place to try and get into but they cant even answer my phone calls for me to ask a question or set up an appointment."
"I would give a zero if it would let me but since it won’t they don’t deserve one star. I set up an appointment for my son over a month ago and they called today saying they needed more paperwork filed out and I ran around getting these papers promoted out and filled out just for them to call and tell me that they will not see my son tomorrow and cancelled his appointment so now I’m back at square one to try and get him help. They say they want to help but they don’t care cause it doesn’t benefit them"
