"I used to eat carls jr all the time. I haven't had it in a while cuz their standards started to drop. My wife and I decided to try it again. The standards were even lower than before. I don't know what has happened to this fast food chain. (Not just this store we tried another in reno) It's a shame this company spends so much money on advertising on food that looks good on TV and you get it home and some of it isn't even edible. We won't be going back soon."

"I wrote a review about this restaurant about 7 months ago and it was not good and I have not been back since tonight, 12/11/2023., and things have not changed. I got an email that I could get a free Western Bacon cheeseburger if I spent a buck so I figured what the hell.. The lady in the drive thru was nice but my food was absolutely disgusting!! Both burgers were cold and the Western Bacon cheeseburger didn't have the onion rings on it. I went large because hey, free burger. My large fry container was half full at best. I do not like coke product and suffice it to say, the Coke was the best part of the meal.. It's a shame that we can't get good food from Carl's Jr. anymore, which I once considered the best tasting burger joint.. I'll stick to In n Out for now on. The line is 30 deep but the food is worth it. Learn a lesson Carl's, I can honestly say I won't be back. Hopefully I'm not on the toilet all night.. Any good reviews written on here are by employees or management because there's no way anybody has a good dining experience here!!!."

"So I went to Carls and wanted the new char sandwich, no chilis apparently, I also asked if I could have chicken instead of beef (no substitutions I was told) I mentioned that The king , the colonel and the clown do substitutions, but nope, so I ask for a famous star and substitute with beyond meat, they say yes, I think that’s a substitution but whatever, so I’m literally the only customer, 15 minutes at the drive through and they come to the window and ask me if both patties are supposed to be beyond meat?….what the … So after spending 30+ dollars I could whatever they “cooked” was basically not cooked and disgusting, if you are in the fast food market and it takes 15 confused minutes to make something that I wouldn’t feed to anyone I’m rethinking CARLS as a food option because it’s not food …."

"Clean is king! Awesome service worth exiting the interstate. Everybody was friendly, even suggesting their menu favorites. Thank you EDUARDO for the jalapeño idea. Did I mention clean?"

"Recently moved to Reno from San Diego area. I love Carl's Jr. This location, not so much. Went through drive-thru and heard the order read back to me correctly. Ordered burger no cheese and no tomato. I got cheese and tomato. Will be looking for other Carl's Jr. in Reno. Unfortunately since I was driving and took off, I was not going back to get it done correctly. Oh well."
