"There's a lot of weeds and dead grass making the park look abandoned to the elements. To some degree it's pretty normal for the end of winter, if not for the weeds. Really sucks that people pulled the rocks off of the rock log marker for painted rock exchange."

"A nice walking path but the park needs some serious TLC. There are a couple of ponds with ducks. The restrooms are dilapidated and the walkways are lined with horse manure. Not a repeater."

"This is an excellent city park with a paved loop trail and great birding opportunities. There are several evergreens and other native vegetation. There is a creek with a nice riparian ecosystem. There are two ponds with many waterfowl. There are several interpretive signs. There is a stone parking area along the road at the entrance of the park."

"I didn't see much nature, and there were houses all around and piles of trees that had been knocked down from a storm last year. It did have a very small manmade lake, but it was fenced off so there wasn't any animals around. I did see one wild mustang munching down on someone's lawn. But I was not very impressed. The mountains that surround Pahrump are gorgeous, however. But you see them from all over the town."

"Discovery Park is honestly such a nice walk. My mom and I love playing Pokemon Go and this place has plenty of stops and Pokemon to catch...not to mention pretty trees and ponds. The ponds are a nice touch so you can stop and look at the wild life. If you want a nice and easy walk I recommend you go there."
