"I have been shopping at Ace Hardware store in Eleele for years. There is a new store manager and some new employees. In the past I could barely get help. No one really seemed to care. Now all of a sudden the staff is professional! Even the employees who have been working there a long time have changed. They seem a lot happier Everyone uses eye contact and asks if they can help. Recently I need help to buy my first drill. Sherry was spectacular. She helped me pick the right one for my needs, she built up my confidence, and she saved me money. I have an organizing business on island. Frequently I have to order on line for a pick up the next day. On two separate occasions Guga, the new store manager, needed to call me to fix a glitch on my order. That never ever happens. But he cares to do a great job. It shows. Keep up the great job. Impressed in Eleele."
"Amazing service. We bought the wrong fishing line for our fishing reel, and the sales person exchanged it and re- installed it on the reel for us. She was so friendly and patient with us, stupid city people lol. She was really helpful, going way out of her way to help us. Her name is Sherry, give her a raise!!!"
"We live on a small island and you can't just jump in your car to go pick up electronics parts or to buy flower planting supplies. We have ONE Ace hardware that's within driving range of our little town. It's a 30 minute drive but if they don't have the item you need, it's an hour to get to the next good hardware store. We are truly lucky in having our Ace here in EleEle. They always either have or can order it!"
"I go here only when I need to for convenience. Some of the staff are awesome. Others, not so much. Lots of condescending attitudes, and I know what I'm doing with home and vehicle repair. I don't appreciate being treated like a novice, being given bad advice, or being treated dismissively when I ask for a possible better option."
