"Hey Walmart… You’re so big! Can you get some scientists to research why it takes 240 minutes to unload these trailers. Appointments should be designed to only take 90 minutes to unload. Do you need a rocket scientist to reexamine your strict procedures that steal truck drivers hard earned time? Edited. Same situation. 4 hours to unload. Edited 10th time. I have 2 pallets today. It takes 2 minutes to unload 2 pallets! I have a green light. They refuse to let me go because the paperwork is lost in translation on the warehouse. I can not leave without my paperwork. They claim to send text messages when finished. I never get mine. Waiting more. Too many rules slows things down. Appointments are strict ! Arrive on time and leave late! Had a green light for an hour… they refused to let me leave waiting on their count… have to wait for their phone call… truck drivers sacrifice our time for their rules. Often truck drivers don’t get payed or payed much waiting."
"The lady at the check-in counter was rude. first time I heard that you have to bring your co-driver (obviously sleeping) to check in. she gave us the lame excuse the safety reason so your co-driver don't drive the truck while your check-in, etc.she was acting like they gonna start unloading as soon as they gey get the BOL. Took 3.5 hours for 5 pallets."
"Snow is expected and I arrived early, they were able to get me a door assigned with no guarantee I would get loaded any sooner. I was unloaded within an hour and 1/2. Beating the weather. Everybody was great and appreciate everything. Safer travels today—thanks again and Happy New Year!"
"Worse receiving ever been to! Took over 11hrs just to unload!? They kept saying they were working on my trailer for 6hrs they were telling me the same thing over and over. Also my appointment was at 2:30am and I arrived at 2:33 and the manager said I came in at 4 something… The fact that they are short staff is not a truckers fault! We shouldn’t have to wait and sit around for that long just to get unloaded or loaded."
"Had no issues at all ! Apt time was 4:15 am , got there at 3:30, gentlements at the guard office were very friendly. So after that immediately received a dock, backed up, unhooked and went to the bobtail parking lot, at 6:45 am received a call from the office that my ppwrk is ready. Dont park on the shoulders, police is there"
