"I called a week before coming about a smog test. I asked if I needed an appointment, they said no. I drove 1 1/2 hr for the smog just to find out I needed an appointment. They referred me to Hytech Auto n Smog. Hytech is better customer service."

"Really fast and efficient so you're paying for that for the most part. Only glaring issues are the diagnostic fee which is significantly higher than others in Truckee ($245.00 versus $189). Even if you're an amateur with car repair it's best to take it to someone who will actually listen to your own diagnosis instead of simply nodding at you and pretending they understand before you spend that much money. I'd give a 4-star rating but another peculiar thing is that, at least in the past, I have been told by freelance mechanics that they used to order their parts from the local O'Reilly and overcharge. If I can find a part for $180.00 it shouldn't be a 135% markup of $440.00+ (this was the itemized pricefor one part not including labor which would have set me at almost $1,000.00 while I just recently got quoted for $500.00 or less including labor)."

"Awesome from the word go. The people, the service you have it going right. Serviced my Mercedes there.. Mercedes dealership wanted $2005.90 for the service, QA checked everything and did what the car actually needed. ($260!) Thank you for the $ savings and doing the right thing!!"

"The service and prices are excellent. My radiator was changed quickly and within the quoted price. Ladies there is a place to sit but not in the winter months. Get a ride if you need one. Check out the fittings on this 2001 in close-up. I made it to Quality Auto and left happy. Thanks"
