"I am so incredibly happy and pleased that I contacted Las Vegas Eye Institute when I did. Las Vegas Eye Institute is highly recommended and here is why. My first encounter was with Tien McDonald over the phone. She was extremely friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about the LASIK procedure. When Tien scheduled my consult appointment with Dr. Swanic, she made sure to follow up with me by phone and email in a very timely manner to answer any and all questions I still had. Tien made it very smooth, easy and comfortable knowing I would be in good hands. On the day of my consult appointment, I was checked in by Jen. She was very nice, friendly and also made me feel at ease. After waiting for a few minutes. Roseanne came and starting doing several eye tests on me. These tests would determine if I was a good candidate for LASIK surgery. She too was very friendly and provided great instruction and thoroughness on what she was doing. After those tests were done, Mia assisted me with a few more eye tests. She too was phenomenal. Great to work with, friendly and guided me with the same thoroughness as Roseanne did. Once those tests were over, I got to sit down with Dr. Swanic. Where he went over all the tests I completed and needed to do a few more tests. Genna was also in the room adding information into my chart. Dr. Swanic stated everything looked great and I would be a great candidate for LASIK surgery. What a relief that was. Dr. Swanic explained to me what he was going to do (during the procedure) and made sure to answer all questions I had for him. We then scheduled surgery. On the day of surgery, I was a little nervous. (Who wouldn’t be.) But when I walked into the office, the entire staff was there to greet me, which made me feel at ease. Before my surgery, Dr. Swanic once again went over exactly what was going to take place during my procedure. Roseanne, Mia, and Genna all assisted Dr. Swanic during my procedure. The procedure it self was very quick and I felt very comfortable listening to the music they had chosen. Along with holding on to my teddy bear they gave to me. I am very pleased with the outcome. Being able to see without glasses or contacts is a absolute blessing. For anyone looking to get, LASIK. I would highly recommend Las Vegas Eye Institute and Dr. Swanic. He is very professional and has a great “bed side manner.” He also has the best staff members working and learning from him. Dr. Swanic and staff are exceptional.
