"Dr. Muir, Dr. Baumgartner (and his medical assistant), and Arlo, along with the office staff (i.e. front desk reception and check out) are all so great! I’ve seen Dr. Muir for almost 8 years and I absolutely adore him!! Dr. Baum, his assistant, and I have such a great time while he’s doing procedures on me!! Arlo is another one that I enjoy seeing, he’s always got great stories! All 3 are awesome medical professionals, with great “bedside manners” and they truly care about their patients! If you have chronic pain issues this is definitely the place to go!! This morning I had an appointment with Dr. Baum (Bomb) and his assistant (love her!!), even though I was in a lot of pain I laughed during most of my visit!! I am grateful for the care these doctors have given me over the years! Not only is Sweetwater Pain and Spine a great place for people here in the greater Reno/Sparks area (now Carson City too), but they do humanitarian missions to South America…for remote villages and they help many people there! Truly a great group of people!!!"

"I have been going here for over 4 years. Be prepared to work with unprofessional front desk staff who change or cancel your appointment without calling you and who lie to your face when you confront them. Good luck ever getting the front desk to answer the phone. But if you do have to go here and can get them to answer, try to see Arlo. He's amazing. The doctors are the only reason I've put up with the horrible behavior of the front staff for so long."

"Dr. Baumgartner went to extraordinary lengths to diagnose my pain issues from nerve damage in my spine. He tried different techniques to help me before finally settling on something that works. He didn't give up and he never dismissed my pain. He now does procedures and Joseph Benton has taken over my care. He continues to give me the high quality care that I have come to expect from Sweetwater. I highly recommend them."

"The staff at Sweetwater are great! Always personable and very helpful anytime I had concerns come up.whether it was issues with insurance or issues with my pharmacy the staff have gone above and beyond to help when they can. I’ve been treated by Arlo for migraines and Katrina for other chronic needs for the last 2.5 years and am happy to have them as my healthcare providers"

"The office manager is very rude and disrespectful and does not own her actions instead just makes excuses. They are terrible about returning phone calls. The UA tech loses your tests and/or results of tests. Most of the nurses are AMAZING though. They do their very best to help to their abilities. They do NOT keep in touch with there patients like they say they will. They lose notes and documents that they may recieve from there patients. They change there demeanor constantly and it reflects towards there patients on the constant. When you do phone them and they do answer half the time you can't even finish your statement. Melissa is a doll as is a few others in the office that is why I give the two star rating I am giving."
