"They are not V.A. friendly. They photocopy both my military and VA id's, the hospital billed and was paid yet Reno Emergency Physicians claimed I was uninsured. I never received a bill and only found out about the debt 3 years later on my credit report. Upon addressing and trying to correct the issue and providing proof of insurance coverage and their error I was told there Is nothing they can do, the bill is to old to bill the insurance (VA). I contacted the VA this was incorrect and was considered predatory. A $280 bill has turned into almost $1000 with collections over time with no recourse as a lawyer/lawsuit cost more than the payments. They are preditors beware."

"Every time my family has been treated by a doctor who uses this billing agency - its a nightmare. LONG READ. 1. They claim they don't have the insurance information and send bills (usually final notices which I will touch on later) that are just low enough that some pay without realizing they haven't gone through insurance but high enough to ruin someone's next few months. I have proof the hospital has forwarded my insurance information each time so this is clearly a predatory practice to get paid a higher, non contracted price. 2. They commonly don't send bills until they're turning you into collections and claim they've been sending them. Another predatory practice to make you pay quickly to avoid the credit hit instead of making them send the bill to insurance, additionally other reviews indicate they've paid already so its another attempt to overcharge. 3. They claim incorrect or missing information prevents them from forwarding to insurance and try to say they cannot correct it to get the claim processed. One time they had a random (they claim they crossed records) grown man's birthday for my son which made the claim bounce after I demanded they send it to insurance. They initially refused to correct it until I told them the credit bureau would remove the hit since i am not financially responsible for a 50 year old man the bill was for according to the birthdate. I had to forward proof from the hospital that I submitted my sons birthday correctly when he was checked in. Another time they claimed they sent a bill by text to a number thats not mine (hipaa violation!), and they said they used text because they didnt have my address yet they found my address for the collections threat? The doctors who use this company have a responsibility to ensure they are being properly represented. I will be asking every facility now to not let any doctor who uses this company touch my family. I am extremely disappointed that the doctors are not fixing this issue and are allowing such a corrupt company to handle bills and screw over the patients who need them the most. If anyone is interested, I have proof of my claims and would be happy to share."

"Well, all the reviews on here are accurate. I recieved two bills from them at the end of April. I paid both bills in full immediately, and my bank told me that the checks were cashed on 5/3/2022. I just received two notices yesterday, 5/27/2022 that both my bills were overdue and I would be sent to collections. I have my bank's notice that both the checks were cashed on 5/3. I have a bunch of good friends who are big-time lawyers. This will be fun."

"Physicians do great work. They have the WORST billing company. Your emergency experience will continue to haunt you because you cannot get your medical bills resolved and move on with your life. To the Physicians: I would have written you directly and privately if your contact information was available online. Please get a new billing company. Your current one located in Chicago does not understand the basics of medical billing. They have not been able to resolve my account in over 10 months and continue to send me bills that are a result of their negligence and lack of understanding. The root cause is they continue to submit claims to united healthcare with records as if they were new claims. If they submit them as "revised claims" their claims would be accepted. No number of calls to the customer service agents or their supervisors at the billing company are able to resolve this. This is basic stuff. United Healthcare has been clear in telling them what they're doing wrong."

"This company is so frustrating!!! I received a bill in the month of May and made my payment on 05/14/2020 an email was sent with a receipt on the same day. My bank account was debited the following business day for the exact amount on the bill. Fast forward to today 07/21/2020, I received a collection notice for Reno Physicians for the exact amount I paid. I immediately called billing and was told that my account t was reported to the collection agency on 06/30/2020. The only explanation that Jessica could give me is when the account was reported and when the payment was posted. Again, payment was made on 05/14/2020 and according to Jessica the payment was not posted until 07/16/2020. Apparently, it's my fault that I didn't call to inform billing that I made a payment via online. Why was that not stated on the bill?? Better yet, why is it even an option?? This is terrible business practice and this is not the first time that it has happened to me."
