"Sent my husband here because he is sick and my sickness turned into pneumonia. He was turned away and told to go to St Mary's or renown since they can't test for pneumonia. He wasn't trying to get tested for pneumonia though! He just wanted to get checked out because I had it . Super rude"

"Help me enormously! I had a possible rotator cuff tear/injury and primary couldn't do much (the recommended an MRI and an X-Ray.) Later in the afternoon I was almost completely paralyzed from the chest up and unable to work or even sleep. I went to Urgent Pain and within an hour I had an X-ray and a was being treated (a series of shots into my shoulder/arm.) I had relief within an hour and was able to sleep and work. Great service, friendly staff, knowledgeable doctors. Got me out of pain."

"Dr. Nairizi is amazing. He did my back surgery last year through Reno Tahoe Pain. Now he opened up the first Urgent PAIN clinic! I went there for a pinched nerve in my neck a couple months ago. He did an epidural on the spot! Love the accessibility for people needing immediate pain relief."

"I have been seen for several years here and have been very happy with the care from J. Myatt & B. Bickertt Too bad they are gone, but good for them pursuing new career choices. This place has changed DRAMATICALLY since they have left. I saw Jason Machado today. #1 NO BEDSIDE MANNER!!! He was rude & uncaring. He didn't know anything about my condition and offered me procedures that would not help but possibly harm me. I have Avascular Necrosis in my knees, here's an explanation: Avascular necrosis of the knee, or osteonecrosis, is when cells in the bones of the knee die because they are not getting enough blood. When enough bone cells die, the bones begin to weaken and break down. This causes pain, arthritis, and difficulty moving the knee. Jason decided I needed nerve block injections to alleviate the pain, I declined. He offered Cortisone injections, I declined. I think most of my problems stem from a lifetime of doctors filling me up with Cortisone, Prednisone & Kenalog. He explained he was here to offer procedures to help my pain and not hand out opioids. That offends me because a 2 week supply of pain medication always lasts me 3 months. I'm obviously not an abuser. It is obvious that Reno Tahoe Urgent Pain has turned into a place that wants more money for giving you procedures rather than writing you a prescription that will help you out of your pain attack at the time. They want to refer you to the clinic to receive more and more procedures. This place has changed and I will not return. I did not need nerve block shots or cortisone shots. There's nothing any doctor can do for Avascular Necrosis except make the patient feel comfortable when having an attack. Jason Machado did nothing for me. He knew nothing about my condition. I do not recommend him."
