"I decided to write a review about my great experience on NCC Northwest Career College on Tenaya, and smoke ranch. I been doing super better in my classes. I feel so much more confident in my school work and learning from the Teacher that is teaching my class. Math used to be my favorite subject. Now, reading is my favorite subject."

"BEWARE NOT ALL MATERIALS WILL BE PROVIDED UNTIL AFTER THE THIRD WEEK MEANWHILE THE LOANER COMPUTERS IN THE CLASSROOM ARE NON RELIABLE. I had the opportunity to try out the Legal Assistant program at NCC for the month of September 2023. NCC has a no commitment policy for the first three weeks and that attracted me to try out the program. I thought that NCC would be forthcoming in every aspect but l'm very sad to say I was not correct. Grace Perea assisted me and went out of her way to help clarify how the program worked. She was very therrral with the process and explained how the vocational program offered by Nevada Rehabilitation worked with NCC. I was later introduced to Ashley in the Financial Aid Department, she offered to do research along with me and Kristen her Supervisor regarding Loan Rules and regulations for disabled individuals desiring new loans to clarify any misunderstanding. However the third and final step was not a good experience. Unfortunately I feel that the Teacher for the Legal Assistant program was unfair to me, as I was a bit more slow and asked more questions. I was also very vocal about falling behind during class due to my loaner computer not being charged and having turned off during the first hour of the class. As a result, on September 11. Dona (teacher) called me on my personal phone and later scheduled a meeting on September 15th via google meets to reprimand me along with the program chair. NCC supported their decision to be kicked off the program for being vocal about their lack of ensuring a working computer was provided. Had this not been the case, I feel I may have succeeded in the academic part of the modules because they were very user friendly and I had a passing grade of 78.0 from the modules at the time of expulsion on September 18th. I regret that I didn't get the proper support from NCC program adjudicators, also I regret that I was not accepted in the program in this manner because it has hindered my recovery tremendously from my disability. The fact that not every program has to be a good match for either the Student or the Teacher leaves room for discrimination and it is not what is expected of a classroom setting. I find this clause of a three week trial to be unfair due to the easy ability the faculty had to deny me help with no accountability. Thank you Dr.Kenny for contacting me and personally explaining to me why I was not accepted to the program. Thank you all whom I came into contact with during the few weeks at NCC."

"Not worth considering, try CSN have better education choices. They make promises they cant keep. The staff can care less about the students they just forward you to another department. They give you low paying jobs. They teach about wokeism and other false realities. They are too busy trying to give away turkeys for their social media image. I had to reach out for my graduation pictures because they forgot to tell me they were ready. They keep the original photos and you have to download a copy and print them yourself. They give you job placement but like I said you can get better paying jobs. This school is all false. You don't gain anything by coming here, but there marketing merch they want you to keep and coupons to get a massage."

"I was so afraid to try school after being out of it for 10 years but I’m so happy that I did. I had a great experience as a student at Northwest. I did the MAP program and I loved how they had night time hours bc it worked with my schedule. The program was also partially online which was great for me as well. Every single instructor was great. Mr. John and Mr. Michael were my first medical assistant teachers and they really instilled confidence into me and made me feel like I belonged at the school and in the healthcare field. Ms. Maria was my teacher for the second half of the course and you can tell she is very passionate and knowledgeable about the material. Ms. Jenny, Ms. Rose, and Ms. Jeri were my phlebotomy teachers and they are some of my favorite teachers I’ve ever had. We always learned so much and worked so hard in class while also having so much fun! I felt confident in my phlebotomy skills going out into the field. Ms. Lois was my graduate advisor and she was a huge help and support for me and I had a great time meeting with her. Hugo was my admissions advisor and if it wasn’t for him I wouldn’t have even got back into School. Thank you Hugo and also the financial aid department. Northwest was a great way to get back into school and I will definitely be doing more in the future."
