Applebee's Grill + Bar

"Billy was a great the day of the superbowl with only him there to service the whole restaurant. He made sure the game was on and we were taken care of. He continued to give us our space to watch the game yet still came by to check in with us. Definitely haven't had service like this in a long time."

"Food is decent. The atmosphere was nice. Wasn't too cold but could have been a little warmer given that it was a winter day. Went there to try the all you can eat deal. Pretty good deal overall given all the meat you can eat. The ribs and sauce were good, same with shrimp and chicken. Tried the different sauces for the chicken and it's worth it. The BBQ sauce though was something id avoid earring too much of. After you eat so much and eat it with the chicken, for me it got 'tiring'. Better to go a light sauce first. Service was wonderful. Our waitress Lily (started with a L) made sure we were doing fine when we needed. Made some suggestions and refilled our glasses. Didn't rush us though it wasn't a busy Tuesday night. It's been a while since eating at Applebee's and this experience made sure I still enjoyed it."

"Overall mediocre experience. Took a minute to get seated for two, which was fine. After we were seated we were given no utensils. Server was nice. Food came out before the appetizer, which was odd. Then when we got our appetizer (after the main dish mind you) the queso for the chips was cold, and chips were too salty. My main dish was pretty alright, shrimp was pretty tasty, chicken was a bit undercooked. Wife’s Southwest Chicken Bowl was a bit gross, lettuce wasn’t nice and crunchy and chicken was undercooked, also rice was a bit crunchy. We live in Sacramento and decided to stop by this applebee’s, like i said, overall mediocre food, I’d go to chilis instead."

"Honestly food is just bad, took one bite of a classic cheeseburger and it just tasted like it was dunked in the mop water, I didn’t bother eating anymore then my bite. Fries are a savor thank god but when ya came to eat just having fries is not filling, I don’t think I’ll come back as I think it’s just an Applebees curse to have bad food. Decided to order dessert if the reviews were good enough but I don’t think I’ll be giving that a chance either. It’s not really the servers fault for the food but she was forgetful about our order."

"Went in for dinner, there was a small wait time, so we just went to the bar area and sat there. The waiter, of course, is the bartender....Billy, I believe, he was great!!!! Great drinks and service was great. I would definitely sit at the bar area again, because we had a great time!!!"
