"Love this place and love the people! Income goes right back out in to the community in forms of assistance and scholarships. Everything is donated second hand, even though you can find items that still have tags or in packages. You can get a full kitchen trash bag of clothes for just $10, shoes purses, shirts for just $1, dishes and books for $.25, food items free of charge. You never know what is going to come in to the Friendship house and it never fails to surprise me when I walk in. Shopping or browsing, it's always a great place!"
"I urge anyone living in Maud or nearby to purchase items from here. They use the money to support families and individuals in their church or communities. They have a mission to grow Gods word through their actions. They also accept donations of food. I'm from Lufkin and go thru Maud to get to visit family New Boston and I will make sure to donate and purchase each time I go to New Boston. Thanks for all you do at Friendship House Mission!!
