"I had my hair and makeup done at this salon exactly one year ago, and am posting this review as a WARNING to any unfortunate girl who has to use her own money for prom, looking to book here. My gal was so sweet and kind which is why I feared posting a review at the time, but looking back on the experience, I am appalled and find it as extremely unacceptable. The staff was friendly, but also beyond lacking in knowledge or capability to apply makeup. I had to go home and completely wipe my face off, only to call a girlfriend up and have her do 100x of a better job than my stylist did. (Yes, those photos were of me in the salon, and me right after I walked out). No, I am not an outgoing person and didn’t have the courage to tell her I looked absolutely awful. Now, I just can’t believe she let me walk out looking like that. I had never applied fake lashes and wanted those done as well. It was a real surprise to find at the end of the night that she literally covered my real lashes in glue, and that the discomfort I was feeling from the horrendous misplacement was not normal. On top of that, I left with crunchy, barely curled hair with a knotted style that ended up looking awful. With tip, the hair style and makeup experience IS NOT worth it at this salon. They are capable of ruining an important life event, and will lie to your face and say that you look great when in reality, they are under-qualified. Maybe things have changed, but I would not recommend taking the risk here!"
