"Great place to fly higher end gps flight controlled drones. So far there is no posted materials prohibiting it. The trails are very easy to hike. They have been classified way to high. I suppose that is to keep people from not hiking those trails in any type of heat. They call them mountains. More like challenging peaks and valleys and ridge lines. Most of the rock there is loose and going off trail may lead to unfortunate things happening to you. For those who just moved here, everything wants to bite you year round including plant life and in the summer everything wants to burn you. Great place to have kids birthday parties with strict supervision per every two kids for what will be obvious safety reasons when you drive in.. The desert bites until you learn how to respect it. After that it is all fun and beauty beyond compare. This whole area from I-10 to Bell Road, From Sun Valley Pkwy to Jackrabbit Trail is an amazing place for discovery. Plenty of Deer and Javelina to be seen and plenty of ground critters, “Rattlers Included” to be seen and respected. Gila Monsters which are protected and are Venomous have been seen as well. Birds of prey including Bald Eagles which mostly visit in the winter to Giant Owls and Red Tail Hawks and Vultures are common along with our unique special blend of migratory spring birds which are seen morning and at sunset bouncing between protected wet lands and many local farms. The views from every direction are quiet amazing as it tops Phoenix in height. No matter where you go or where you look there is something for everyone. It is patrolled regularly both by local and state police as it is in close proximity to a huge mega complex of everything from a hospital to food, gas, banks,to groceries etc etc , there is a Pet store for you Pet lovers. Best times to go are Sept 10th- May 1st anything outside of that you want to pay close attention to particulate advisories and extreme heat etc. This was a great addition and much needed for the Buckeye region. This is also in very close proximity to Saddle Mountain, primitive but maintained roads will take you to a magical place just west from 411th and I-10 Ave go south. There is much to do out here from Private Hot Springs to Ghost Towns, Gila River fishing. The open space is a great relaxation from the congestion in town. Many open BLM lands for camping up to two weeks in one primitive spot. Bring Water, did I mention, Anything you do in the AZ desert, BRING WATER. Yes this includes Winter months. This is a very dry place and moisture and hydration is your responsibility. Be safe and include snack like nuts or granola. If you are going outside of Cell range it is suggested you have a fully charged GPS to mark your main point off the Public roads. Come enjoy one of the best hidden gems surrounding Metropolis."

"This is just one of many localized parks in the Tartesso development. Each subdivision has his own private park so you do not necessarily have to go to any of the larger parks. Convenient and very well maintained. They all have a few little rides for the children as well as splash pads. They also have a picnic table where you can sit and eat under a covered Ramada. I only negative about the whole thing that's that the maintenance crew needs to do a better job at keeping all of the bird poop in spider webs off of things. If they do this I would give the park would have a 5-star instead of a 4-star rating"
