"We were mistreated by this company. We would not recommend this club to anyone. Coaches there are not nice. They even mistreated my friend's kid too. Lots of favoritism with the coaches. They are not a team because the coaches don't allow the kids to work together. When we addressed the issue, we were told by the head coach, they're not going to wait and slow down for no one. The head coach even blamed my son for not listening and not speaking up. My son was bullied by some of the kids. He had gotten hit in the face and was pulled down in the water. I told the head coach that I saw how the female assistant coach treated my son. I witnessed her ignoring my son and when she saw I was the parent, she started pretending that she was helping him. I saw so much there, I don’t have enough time to write all the miss treatment we received there. Not only did she blame my son, she also neglected to hear me correctly. My son is very active and not afraid to speak up. I heard him several times asking questions while I was there. Speaking out is not a problem with him. When he asked a question, I noticed he was ignored. Below is some of the text I sent to the head coach/owner and the reply I got. Hi Hannah, After talking to my husband, we have decided to pull my son J.S. out. Please consider this is our written notice. Please cancel the credit card and please do not charge the credit card anymore. Also, just to let you know, I’m not happy with the way you conducted your business. The way you run this team is not a team. A team is supposed to be working together. My son said, it wasn’t because he wasn’t listening to Aryn, but it was because he couldn’t hear her instructions. When I was there yesterday, I saw she was giving instructions while my son was still in the water. How was he supposed to know what to do while in the water. You people should have waited for all the kids to be in the same place to give out the next instructions. My friend told me the same thing happened to her kid and they quit the team 2 weeks after joining. That was a waste of money. I never seen coaches act like that before. My son and I are not very happy with Vitras Verado team coaches. THIS HERE IS THE REPLY TO MY TEXT: Hello, Okay thank you, I will remove your account! As far as the business goes, I am sorry you do not like the coaching. It’s a team of 100 unique individuals that have all started at different point in their lives. With that being said, if a group is on the wall, we tend to give them instructions to keep them moving. We understand and respect every ability level, however, we try our best but it is not always realistic to hold an entire group on the wall for an extended period of time for one kid. Again, this needed to be discussed with coach Aryn, if he did not hear her, then she needed to be informed. You said yourself last night that he was reserved and uncomfortable saying something. If we don’t know as coaches, we cannot read minds. Vitras has been a team since 2013. We are a team of more than 100 diverse individuals that have always been growing and I am proud of the team we have become. I am sorry you didn’t feel the same! Thank you, Hannah Bruggman"
