Shasta Pools

"We highly do not recommend using this company to build a pool. They lack communication, a sense of urgency, and the ability to use good subcontractors. At one point we did not hear from our superintendent for a month. They started construction of this pool in late November. The excavator ran his skid steer out of fuel which delayed the excavation by 10 days and Shasta did nothing. Once a mechanic was scheduled to work on the skid steer he ran over some landscaping lights. The shotcrete crew misread the plans and made the water spillway feature too small while also forgetting an umbrella port. The plumber errored in the placement of some self cleaning floor ports. Finally, as all of this was occurring scheduling and communication had no logical order or reasoning, many days of good weather were wasted with no work occurring for weeks. This company over promised and delivered frustration and aggravation which made it very hard to trust them to build us a pool!!"

"Best choice. Jennifer was my main contact and she did great. Jennifer always called and texted. I always knew what was happening. From start to finish she made it very easy. Gary showed up and taught me stuff I never knew about my system and helped me know my pool better than I did previously. He made sure it was perfect before he was done. GREAT JOB!!!!! Updated review. After one of the hottest phoenix summers on record my new pool had a problem. Jennifer Miller exceeded any expectations I could have had with such quality service! "I had an absolutely amazing experience with Shasta from start to finish and couldn’t recommend them enough. The design process started with Chris where he was beyond helpful in getting me to the design I loved as well as explaining all of my options across the board thoroughly. He made everything very easy in terms of making sure I understood the different options in order to make the decision making process even easier. Once the project was released, I began working with Andrew and Monica. Again, I can’t say enough good things about these two. Not only were they both extremely efficient and timely with checking statuses and scheduling stages, they both were great communicators. When Andrew came out to the house, he always let me know and was never bothered by me going out to ask questions. He was always very clear in setting expectations and preparing me for what was next. As for Monica, she was so on top of everything and never missed a single update. I always knew what the next step was and who to expect. She kept things moving along so quickly and blew my expectations out of the water. Shasta knows what they are doing. From friends in other states that have put in pools, I went into the process a little wary that I would need to micromanage. I did not have to do anything of the sort. There was no point in the process where I wasn’t anything less than completely confident in the service and product that was being provided."

"We are very appreciative of the whole process with Shasta Pools from the first meeting with Scott Powers and his professional and caring mindset. He drew up our design exactly as we had envisioned. We are so happy with the outcome! Scott Powers is an absolute gem of a consultant! We had a few construction coordinators along the way but Nina Nason was on top of her game and kept us in the loop through the whole process. She made sure to let us know of changes and updates in a timely manner. Nina is a sweetheart and very kind and made sure we were taken care of. Our pool is absolutely gorgeous and it is so inviting that we wish we could jump right in!! Daniel was very helpful in the process of construction and he went above and beyond to help us. At the Surprise location the front desk associate is so helpful and kind. She always asked how myself and my family were doing and she always has a beautiful smile on her face!
