"I had Marz Mechanical come out through my home warranty company to fix my AC. They installed a new compressor in my unit. Which is working great. Where my problem lies is that they were evacuating the freon from my system into the atmosphere. They were trying to charge me $150 for a recovery fee. And the recovery fee is what is charged to me for them to capture my freon into a tank and dispose of it properly. I did speak to someone from their office and they did remove the fee because they didn't actually recover any freon. But what was really upsetting to me is that they tried to lie and make excuses for them releasing the freon into the atmosphere after the fact. Now they're saying that I have a leak in my coil in the attic and that my freon was low to begin with. So that's why it was ok for them to release the freon into the atmosphere because it was under a certain amount. Now there's another potential issue I may have. But I doubt it because i feel they were just lying to cover up their other lie. If they were trying to pull this over on me, then how many other people do they do this to on a daily basis? They're liars, dishonest, and break the law. They shouldn't be allowed to display the BBB badge on their web page or anywhere that people can see to make the potential client think that they're an honest company."
